I love dinner time and I dislike dinner time. I mean, I love eating. And I don’t mind the cooking, but I don’t enjoy the time it takes to plan, prep, and clean up. The other day Griffin and I were talking about dinner ideas. By the time I get home from work I’m exhausted (this may also be from the lack of sleep I’ve been getting lately.) Which means I really don’t want to spend a lot of time on my feet in the kitchen. So, today I’m bringing to you 5 easy dinner ideas that all take less than 30 minutes!
BBQ Chicken Pizza on Pita Bread // This is so simple! We love us some KC Masterpieces BBQ sauce and all I have to do is throw it on some pita bread, add mozzarella cheese, chicken, cilantro, and some bacon. They cook for about five minutes in the oven (just until the cheese is melted.) It’s quick and easy, especially if you cook with chicken a lot, just have some extra on hand for during the week. We probably eat this once a week, but neither of us can complain since we like it so much!
Teriyaki Chicken // I found this recipe for teriyaki sauce a few months ago and we love it! It’s simple and easy. Usually, we eat the chicken over rice and with some sort of stir-fry or veggie mix! The longest part is cooking the rice!
Turkey Burgers // In our 2 years of marriage I’ve discovered that while I really LOVE hamburgers that aren’t made at home. But, I sure do love a good turkey burger (hmmm especially with some pepper jack cheese melted on top!) Maybe I’ll make this for dinner tonight 😉 Anyway, since we live in an apartment we just put the seasoned meat patty (I buy ground turkey and make my own burgers) before grilling them on our George Foreman. We usually eat these with a bag of chips or oven baked fries.

Marinated Pork Chops // I got this recipe from Six Sisters Stuff sometime last year. The marinade is easy to make and I usually do it the night before to give the pork good flavor. Again, we cook it on our George Foreman grill, but hey, it works! We eat mashed potatoes (the instant kind) or veggies with the pork!
Caesar Salad // This is our go to on hot summer nights. I know it’s getting cooler, but I’m sure it will still make the rotation sometime this month. Sometimes we add chicken, but sometimes we don’t. This meal takes less than 5 minutes to put together, plus it’s satisfying and healthy.
