Hi there, I’m Taylor! And I’m the voice behind this blog.  My Hopeful Story. For a long time,  I’ve really struggled with finding hope and peace in my life.  When I was sixteen years old I was sexually, verbally and emotionally abused by one of my best friends.   Now, six years later I am finally in a place where I can feel peace and talk about what I experienced.  I write about my experiences with the hope that they may inspire someone else to speak out and let their voice be heard!  I also write because I know just how hard it is to be a victim, feeling trapped and alone. But I’ve broken free, and I want to share that with others. I have found happiness despite this horrible thing that I experienced, and I want to share with you how I’ve found that happiness, that peace, and that hope. That is truly what this blog is all about.

In 2017 I’ll be making some new changes to this blog, some minor and some major. I hope to share others stories with you. You can also expect posts from me every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

I was born and raised in Provo, UT. I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California Irvine Mission. I’ve been married for nearly two years now and it’s been the absolute best. I love my husband, books, popcorn, and God.  I’m terrible at being organized, dinner can be a rare occasion at our house (it’s a work in progress) and I really love (and miss) the ocean. If I’m not working or in school, you’ll find me curled up on the couch reading a good book or watching The Office on Netflix.  Also, I like cuddling. A lot. And kissing.

This is my life.

Visitors welcome.
